Final thoughts...

The last of the Zuiko 17mm shots.
While on a short break at the Belgian coast, I used the Zuiko 17mm for the last time.
Reflecting on the images... i'm confused.
Pretty satisfied with the results it have me, but personal prefernce tend me to use larger focal lenght.
Or is it just a fact of getting used to it...

Zuiko 17mm f 2.8 (2)

Again a few shots from the Olympus 17mm.
A great litle lens, but for me it misses some focal lenght to be appeallng for street photography...

Hill 62 - Trenches -

I'm no expert on the matter, but I think these look pretty authentic...
This place is as dead and cold as it gets...

Zuiko 17 mm f 2.8

I was granted the opportunety to test the Olympus Zuiko 17mm MFT lens on my Panasonic GF1.
It seems to be near perfect for snapshot streetphotography. Personally I would prefer a bigger range.
Say 40 mm...
Following shots I took in a timeframe of less than 20 minutes.
When it feels good, it sometimes comes naturally.

From the archives

Always nice to dig in old pictures.
I can't even remember with what camera I took this :)
I'm guessing... Pentax or Minolta.

Hill 62

A visit to Hill 62. A must see WW1 site!
In this first post you'll see the owners, and 2 of their 10 cats, and also some impressions of  "view boxes".
In the museum atached to the tea room there's an impressive collection of stereoscopic pictures to be seen.
Once outside you'll find the trenches, but that's for a 2nd post.

Almost perfect

A cup of coffee, a nice view, good weather....
Only thing wrong here is the empty chair besides him.
