Texfil - Part one -

It was my son that pointed out this location to me.

Strange.... I pas by there frequently, and it never occured to me to stop and take pictures.

Sometimes it's right under your nose, and you can't even see it :)

This place was build in 1907. It endured two World Wars, but it's the economic downfall that got to it.

Unfortunately every door was locked tight, so we couldn't get in...

A bit disapointed. Almost everything is vandelized and broken. Not a single window is intact, and much has bin stolen.

I went ; along with my son ; to the abandonned family park : Dadipark.

The park was opened in 1950.

50 years later a boy lost his arm on one of the attractions. After that accident more and more people started to complain about the safety of the park, and the once so popular park faded away as complaints kept on comming...

In 2002 the park announced to close for 1 year to renovate and ensure the safety of the children.

It never reopend .....

And some things still work. My son is testing out the merry-go-round.
